FAMILY OFFICE

Our Next Generation Work  is designed to combat the old adage; "SHIRTSLEEVES TO SHIRTSLEEVES IN THREE GENERATIONS."  We work closely with our clients to help establish family office next generation participation and involvement.  We recommend being proactive and providing early stage learning programs to bring the next generation along at a measured pace while always challenging them to grow and develop.

We understand that the families' assets are not just those on the balance sheet, but more so are human assets that one day will manage and oversee the those investment assets and business interests.

Through encouraged participation in the family foundation and other philanthropic activities coupled with the use of next generation committees, sub groups and mentoring, the future of the family has the opportunity to engage in activities that are developmental and educational.

The next generation takes instant messaging (IM), email, voice mail and the World Wide Web for granted.  We use these new communication technologies to involve and educate the next generation, on their level, in a way they understand.  We work hard to keep each family and each trust account in the family office from falling into a Malthusian Effect due to poor next generation planning and/or education.
